How do I copy a whole page?
Three ways: open the popup and hit copy, right-click anywhere → “Copy Full Page HTML”, or press Alt+Shift+C. You get the complete document, doctype included.
How do I copy a single element?
Right-click the element — button, card, table, form — and choose “Copy Clicked Element HTML”. Or use the picker: click Pick Element, hover with the glowing outline, click to copy exactly that node.
Can I change the formatting?
Yes. Toggle between Formatted (clean 2-space indentation), Raw and Minified, and exclude <script> and <style> tags with one switch. Your preferences are saved and sync across devices.
Why does it ask for permissions?
Only the minimum: activeTab and scripting to read the HTML of the tab you're on — and only when triggered by your click or shortcut — plus contextMenus for the right-click options and storage for your preferences.
What are the live stats?
The popup shows the page's DOM size in KB/MB, total element counts and a script/style breakdown — so you always know what you're about to copy.
Something isn't working.
Reload the tab and try again — some pages rewrite their DOM dynamically. If it persists, email us and we'll help.
